Gasser opens Game 3 of the NLCS against a LAD lineup that’s he’s faced off against 2 times already. With the Brewers stealing Game 1 & 2 in the series I believe MIL looks to push length from Gasser who’s been terrific in Sept/Oct holding a 1.67 ERA allowing 1 or less ER in 6 straight outings.

I see Dustin May likely starting Game 4 and to me leading 2-0 in the series it makes more sense to try and get 4-5 innings out of Gasser in order to save the pen for if you need them to close out the series.
