@BBGreatMoments As nostalgic as it is/was, Milwaukee County Stadium by the end was in pretty tough shape as they werent sticking much $ in it and had like no modern amenities at all. I struggle to think of another one I went to that was in worse shape.
@Tommy_Torkelson@nathanmarzion Agreed. Its Game 4 or 5 in that 2001 ECF. Bucks win series imo if get either one of those. Having that team and extremely loud building in the Finals would’ve been something to remember.
@ArmenSaryan I remember Jack helping out in the Sports Marketing class at Marquette and he was a good guy.
That was a pretty rough Bucks squad and the start of a rough run until Karl showed up. Cool video pull though.
@AlwaysKnocking@ShamsCharania The Bucks have a 1st rounder this year, its just that Pelicans hold the right to swap positions. But with the Pelicans worse its most likely the Bucks will have their own 1st round pick.
@steefin84@brewcitypaul I agree. Its not like they’re winning with him playing. I think it is more from the angle of not getting hurt to affect trade value OR to save some mileage on the legs and be fresh for next season if he stays in Milwaukee.
@JECHE_11@BarstoolHubbs No. There is a Runs Against/Completed Outs formula if Mexico wins tomorrow. And USA giving up 8 tonight has them on outside looking in as of right now.
If Italy wins, USA is in.
@Cornydetective1@cooly_roc I know everyone hates the Ray Allen trade, but can’t dispute that the Bucks became relevant again under Karl and were damn close to getting to the Finals in 2001. He is a top 5 HC in franchise history, maybe even 4.
@SportzStoner@cooly_roc Don’t think that list is accurate. Del Harris was coaching the late 80s teams and won often. Dunleavy also was long gone by 2000. Karl took over in 1998 and Chris Ford was before him.
@StelterDave@collegesportsnc@KyleMalzhan I also don’t feel like he will stick around long if gets a bigger offer either. Unless they somehow win Horizon Tourney, I don’t think this will be the year, but another solid season he might. Sundance seemed like the perfect fit and was hopeful he’d stick around for awhile.
