My husband is absolutely wonderful to me. I love him so.... But I still have this thing in me that feels scared. Not bitter or angry, just scared. I hate it! #affairrecovery continued

Hubby is working hard this week, working both morning and evening shift. So I decided to watch a movie "Something to talk about" STUPID ME Now feeling sick to my stomach, a knot in my throat, eyelids and heart are feeling heavy.

@alicesue65 I should have read the list!! Betrayal is everywhere, shows movies songs. Christmas Eve of 2015 we watched the movie WarRoom, and he was in an affair. Can't watch that one ever!

@HoldingOn_2Hope If I am being honest I don't know that he is being 100% honest now, I hope he is but I think it may be some time before I fully trust. That has more to do with my healing though.

@HoldingOn_2Hope We was still abusing prescription medication & no matter how bad he wanted to not be the way he was it controlled him Also shame controlled (which is what I think happens with a lot of unfaithfuls).

I know we all wish that our spouse woke up from stupid the moment of discovery, but it takes time they didn't get on that phone overnight

@HoldingOn_2Hope I remember 10mths after D-day, after going through affair recovery I told him divorce was not off the table He had learned alot & done a lot of work but he was still struggling with being honest 100% I can say now divorce is off the table It just took time, & that sucks I know

@StableUnstable @heartofmanmovie We watched it in the theater, and cried a lot, but everyone else did too. It has some real people sharing their stories. My heart breaks for you really everyone that has experienced this kind of hurt

@StableUnstable @heartofmanmovie Well it covers a lot but for you & your husband I think it would speak to you about shame of sexual sin & how that shame keeps you in the very thing you want to escape. It shows God's love for us &how he never gives up on us even when we give up on us.

During our 2 1/2 yr journey several books have helped. Healing Your Marriage when trust is broken by @cindybeall (which led us to @AffairRecovery ) Not just friends by Shirley Glass, Hold me Tight by Sue Johnson this was for both of us, we should go through it together yearly!
