NEW GTA 6 DETAILS REVEALED:
- When switching to Jason, you can sometimes find him naked in the shower
- Lucia can encounter a lawyer living in a dumpster. You can give him pills, return later for legal advice, or even get inside the dumpster with him
- Jason or Lucia can let the other drive while you sit back and listen to the radio, and you can shoot from the passenger seat during chases
- Your partner can text you reminders to lock the house or say they’re going to bed
- Safehouses feel more like RDR2 camps, with other characters able to visit and Jason and Lucia following their own routines
- You can shave or shorten hair and facial hair at safehouses, while new styles still require a barber or salon
- Different clothing stores and salons have exclusive items and hairstyles
- Personal vehicle trunks work and can store spare clothes and weapons
- Taxi rides can include full conversations with other passengers
- GTA 6 has more radio and TV ads than any previous GTA. IGN saw ads for a depression drug called “Angstipan” and a 30,000-calorie “Prairie Sandwich”
- Snapmatic returns, but Jason and Lucia can’t post because they’re trying not to leave a digital footprint. You can still lurk, follow accounts and browse posts
- The phone is now a physical object in the world. The camera zooms into the character’s hand when it’s pulled out instead of showing a HUD phone
- Animals can be studied and checked off a list similar to RDR2
- Dogs can be petted or scolded
- NPCs have a much wider range of heights and body types, with animations dynamically adjusting to fit them
- NPCs can notice you eavesdropping on conversations or following them for too long and may confront you, attack or try to get away
- Some civilians carry weapons and can start violence themselves
- Ambient NPC conversations can trigger activities and events
- Jason and Lucia can spontaneously suggest nearby jobs or activities while you’re already heading somewhere else
- Wanted stars appear as hollow outlines if police don’t know what you look like
- If one protagonist escapes while the other gets arrested, the arrested character still gets the traditional “Busted” screen and respawns
- Some confrontations can be defused by aiming a weapon without firing, causing the NPC to flee
- Enemies can be incapacitated by shooting their arms or legs, and weapons can be shot directly out of their hands
- Cinematic slow-motion kill shots similar to RDR2 can occur
- Robberies have a “greed vs speed” element. Blowing open a safe is faster but can damage the loot, while finding the combination takes longer but preserves the payout
- Police can surround stores or banks and wait outside for you, while some robbery locations have alternate exits
- Vehicle fences can provide information such as codes to police impound lots containing cars to steal
- Stolen cars lose value if damaged before being sold
- Some vehicle trackers alert police if you drive too slowly, forcing you to speed up or abandon the car
- Story choices can be both big and small, with smaller decisions building into larger consequences
- The story was designed with repeat playthroughs in mind
- Missions can have multiple routes and approaches, including choosing whether to drive or shoot during certain sequences
- Lucia’s ankle monitor plays a notable role in the story and is key to how she and Jason are brought together
- Jason and Lucia have dense backstories, with some details directly revealed and others only hinted at
- Rockstar says it has blurred the line between open-world activities and main missions

I'm not no-contact, but hearing my kid ask over and over why none of his grandparents like him or ever want to see him really does make me feel like going scorched earth
Not really fair to bemoan a “genre of video” when it’s pretty clearly one guy making original high-effort videos and a bunch of lazy dipshits ripping him off
