True—assuming you mean had Pak not supported Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the 1992-1996 Afghan Civil War would have unfolded differently. However, you’d end up w/ the India-US-Russia-aligned, Tajik-dominated, Northern Alliance (which also rejected the Durand Line & was unlikely to remain in power for long in a country where every govt depends on rural Pashtun support).

There’s a reason the U.S. relied on Pashtun leaders after 9/11. It understood that the Taliban—like Hekmatyar before them—could not be displaced by a predominantly non-Pashtun political order.

Also, this breed of Pak nationalist is pathetic: so subservient to the US that they interpret history from a Western pov & disown Pak’s interests whenever they diverge from America’s. Anyone who thinks Hekmatyar wasn’t Pak’s most logical choice among the m*ujahideen knows little about Afg beyond Western propaganda (which is reproduced locally by various elements in the infosphere).

1. No intelligence shared between any party Türkiye stays neutral

2. Nuristani incursion backers whether it Afghan Diaspora or ISI planned it poorly

3. Whereabouts got leaked to GDI Emirat’s forces easily ambushed inexperienced fighters

I thought the same. The incursion into Nuristan seems to have undermined either by poor planning or its details being leaked. If the latter, is Kalın's visit related to how easily the operation seems to have been thwarted? Could this be part of a Turkish-brokered realignment?

I have a theory that American Muslims will undergo ethnogensis and produced a vaguely Brown, Arab-Desi mixed ethnicity.

I think Zohran already proved my prediction right. When speaking about his ethnicity, Mamdani is just Muslim, no one calls him Arab or Ugandan. Even the anti-Indian right wingers don't mention that he's Indian.

The only relevant part of Zohran's race is Islam. He's racially Muslim. This is the future for all Muslim Americans.
