Update - Apprehension of Illegal Afghan Nationals | 23 September 2026

Credible intelligence sources revealed a network facilitating the crossing of illegal Afghan nationals through Danasar Joint Check Post in Zhob sector, Balochistan.

A careful intelligence-based operation was launched by FC to bust the network.

On 21 September, information was received that a large group of illegal Afghans was likely to cross through Danasar. Monitoring mechanisms were activated and the movement of Afghans was tracked.

On 22 September, a total of 103 illegal Afghans were apprehended while trying to cross through a kacha track bypassing Danasar Check Post. Among them, 72 were males, 11 females and 20 children.

So far, 129 illegal Afghans have been apprehended while trying to cross Danasar Joint Check Post.
