Vidu’s Q Series is back after 8 months.
and this is the Q4 Preview.
i had to actually test it myself and honestly, i get why they’re making noise with this one.
the action and fighting generations are seriously good, but the anime/2D stuff is what surprised me most.
up to 15 reference images, 3 audio tracks, 2K/4K output and starting at $0.014/s.
the quality is getting surprisingly close to what i’d expect from something like Seedance, but the price makes it way easier to just experiment and iterate.
that’s probably my favorite part.
what video model are you guys using right now?

The harder part is turning that draft into something your team can actually open, edit, and use.
So I opened @WorkBuddy_AI, selected the newly released Hy4 preview model, and gave it a real campaign-planning task:
Create a complete 14-day launch command center for an AI productivity product across X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
I wasn’t looking for an outline or a page of suggestions. I asked for a finished, editable Word document with clear requirements around structure, visual hierarchy, ownership, timelines, and usability.
Hy4 preview handled the workflow inside WorkBuddy and produced a polished launch system containing:
→ An executive campaign overview
→ Audience and positioning cards
→ KPI targets and campaign messages
→ A visual 14-day roadmap
→ A platform-specific content board
→ An asset and approval tracker
→ A creator outreach pipeline
→ A color-coded risk register
→ A launch-day monitoring dashboard
→ A post-launch measurement framework
What stood out wasn’t only the amount of content… it was how usable the result felt.
The finished file looked more like a real operational workspace than a typical AI-generated report. The sections were visually organized, responsibilities were clearly assigned, and the document remained fully editable.
That’s where WorkBuddy’s Human-AI Co-Writing experience became especially useful.
I could manually change a campaign target, deadline, owner, or message directly inside the document. If one paragraph needed improvement, I could select only that section and ask Hy4 preview to revise it without regenerating or overwriting the rest of the file.
The AI didn’t disappear after producing the first draft. It stayed available within the same document and working context while I continued editing.
That removes the usual back-and-forth of copying AI output, pasting it into another tool, explaining where every revision belongs, and rebuilding the formatting afterward.
Hy4 preview brought the planning and execution capability; WorkBuddy turned that capability into a practical workflow where the output stayed open for real collaboration.
If your work regularly moves between prompts, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and manual revisions, this workflow is worth trying.
