@funcOfJoe Yes. One of my standard questions to managers is “what would two of your reports tell me you could improve on”. Great answers make me feel that they are being empathetic regardless of the specifics of the answer.

@BrandonLive @crgarcia_ar @james_output @davidfowl The internal profiles do have tenure (with a %tile which is fascinating in how quickly it moves due to company growth) and I have seen people use that as a proxy but in general I find that the conversations are a lot less level-loaded at FB than they were at MS 7 years ago.
