But you wouldn't know that because you've never won before... not even once. Politics is about intellectual philosophy to you rather than zero-sum factional disputes over finite resources. Your problem, as a European, is that you see Americans winning and fighting battles with real stakes. It gives you a sense of rage, frustration, impotence. You have never won before. You don't know what it's like.
