For 99% of history there was no boundary between what you did and who you were. ~250 years ago we decided separating this was a natural way to spend a life.
AI ends that experiment. But what comes next won't be unemployment. It will be the return of something older: craft, reputation, and community. What you do and who you are will be the same thing again.
@ArtemisConsort It's a somber realization. It's also IS a scientific insight in the field of ontology. But that field is too corrupted by philosophy and government contracts to serve us well as of yet.
