@Holy_Trinity_AV I always thought we were poor defensively from set pieces when he was at Villa, despite being good offensively.

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@stevesanderstax Konsa probably just hitting his peak and timing rubbish, should have given them an ultimatum but accept it’s a difficult balancing act with keeping an unhappy player. Ollie doesn’t miss much football either so both difficult to replace for the fees we are getting

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@stevesanderstax I didnt believe in the term elite coach until Unai turned up. Another big challenge this season after losing Rogers and Tiellemans but I wouldn’t want anyone else in charge to pull off another successful season.

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@stevesanderstax @mark_macrombie If odder is a word, lol

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@stevesanderstax @mark_macrombie Even odder that BBC football correspondent singled out Konsa as Englands Weak link last night.

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@stevesanderstax @SmithLovelace And they still finish below us every season since Unai arrived.

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@adamsonjon @AVFC_Connor_ Agree with your comment re nostalgia makes people over-rate players from previous eras, however you either play Konsa in front of McGrath or you pick a proper RB in my opinion and I voted Konsa for player of the season.

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@TheAdrianDurham The graphics are a farce, same thing happened to Villa at home to Chelsea. I think they’re designed to wind up the fans. In real life however Foden looked off

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@Ant_Mossarelli Konsa my player of the season, he’s become so consistent we’ve stopped noticing!

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@Trentvilla1 Stones will be on a lot more than Mings, not far off double I’d guess!

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@Lea_EFC Ollie beat them both, with no pens, cost half the price too!

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@Son_Lyme Good post Son, some people that were even doubting Unai, seriously need to re-evaluate. Ollie Watkins 4th in the goal scorer list again, above a long list of players that moved for £60m and above. Over 100 goals for the club, when’s he gone maybe the doubters will appreciate him!

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@mattycash622 Brilliant season Matty, so proud of you guys, got to admit I had written today off!

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@DanIonasca The pass from Tiellemans was so good Buendia didn’t need to take a touch, the far post was gaping

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@Villafanmike Top player too, didnt really get Unai’s approach on this one, even though I feel dirty questioning the great one

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@Forest_Review Agree with most of them, I’d keep Madueke though, Bowen not at his best in the last few months

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@KensingtonRoyal We love you W we do, oh W we love you. Proud you are one of us, what a night to be Villa!

[Steve @fruityboy41]

@Real_Rob_Warner So hello to Your mum, big night this! Very excited with a bit of apprehension as always!
