A very important piece of background information about the 2008 Russian invasion of Georgia.

Today, August 7, marks the 18th anniversary.

The regime in Georgia tries to rewrite history in the Russian prism and impose on us the later date, August 8, which means that, allegedly, Georgia began the military campaign and Russia merely responded a day later.

The world's lack of adequate reaction back in 2008 enabled Russia to proceed with Ukraine in 2014 and 2022.
