Dear Honourable Minister @MhonaFelix ,

More than a month ago, I posed the question to @zinaraZW and tagged @MinistryofTID as to why fully registered Zimbabwean vehicles that would have temporarily been exported from Zimbabwe, have to pay a US$9 road access fee upon re-entry through Zimbabwean borders and none of them have bothered to respond to this very pertinent question, perhaps because they have no plausible explanation to justify this apparent outrageous ’road access fee’.

As the responsible Minister, I implore you to cause the person who handles the Ministry’s X account to respond or cause this road access fee to be done away with completely, should there be no justification found for it, as I and many other fellow citizens strongly suspect that to be the case. I thank you in advance.

The ZRP is looking for a woman named Hazel Silibaziso Mafu in connection with several fraud cases reported between 2022 and April 2026.

Police say Hazel, who is the director of Hezy Motors Logistics Private Limited, advertised vehicle importation services and promised to import and deliver cars for clients at good prices. Many people reportedly paid her money for vehicles, but she allegedly failed to deliver the cars after receiving payment.

So far, 20 complainants have reported losing a total of USD155,211.

The police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or report to the National Complaints Desk or CID Commercial Crimes Division.
