🎂 Happy Birthday to Litecoin! 🎂
"15 Years of Litecoin & 15 Milestones" 🧵
Since Litecoin launched on 13 October 2011, Coinmarketcap has estimated more than 60 million cryptocurrencies have appeared. Among former ‘Top 100’ projects, Cryptorank’s research shows only 71.9% still exist, and even fewer remain active. Well, Litecoin hasn’t left the leaderboard since launch. Ever. While market cap is one way to measure Litecoin’s success, there’s so much more to the project’s 15 years of existence. And this piece is celebrating 15 milestones that’ve had a profound impact on the space, the project, and Litecoin’s users.
Happy 15 Years, Litecoin. Here’s to many more! Enjoy the 🧵 👇
Exactly one year ago, we saw one of the worst crash in the history of crypto.
Bitcoin crashed $20,000 in 8 hours.
$16.4 billion in longs were liquidated.
Altcoins nuked by 40–70%.
Some coins literally went to zero.
So Many lives were destroyed that day, but no one was ever held accountable.
This is another reason why we need Clarity Act and other clear regulations in crypto.
Tokenized stocks continue to ASCEND! 📈
🔹 Total value is approaching $3B
🔹 Up from roughly $700M at the start of 2026
🔹 Around 4x growth in less than a year
The ONCHAIN economy is growing FAST.
BREAKING : 🇺🇸 Bitcoin Spot ETFs have bought $2.39 billion worth of Bitcoin this week.
Highest weekly inflow of 2026, surpassing the previous high of $1.92 billion recorded in August.
Institutional demand is heating up.
ALTCOIN SEASON COULD BE CLOSE. 👀
The OTHERS/BTC chart is pressing against a multi-year descending trendline that has been capping altcoins for years.
We’re now back at the exact level that could change the entire structure.
BREAK & HOLD ABOVE → ALTCOINS 🚀
REJECTION → MORE CONSOLIDATION
The breakout has NOT happened yet.
But a clean weekly breakout above this trendline could mark a major shift in capital rotation and finally give altcoins room to run.
Years of compression.
One breakout could change everything. 👀🔥

BREAKING: This week, $500 billion has been added to the crypto market, and over $5 billion worth of shorts have been liquidated.
Largest short liquidation event in crypto history.
ETFs bought crypto aggressively yesterday.
$BTC - $606 Million, largest in over 3 months
$ETH - $220.7 Million, biggest since Oct 2025
$SOL - $14.5 Million, strongest in over 3 months
$XRP - $13.2 Million, biggest in nearly 2 months
It is not just Bank of America anymore.
BofA lifted its BMNR stake 77.6% last quarter. Now VanEck shows up too: 3.6M shares, $48M, filed in its latest 13F.
Bitmine already sits on ~5.82M ETH, close to 5% of all supply, with Tom Lee steering it as a leveraged ETH proxy.
When this much institutional money crowds one name, something big is usually building. So the real question:
BMNR or ETH, which is the better trade here?

This is the biggest short squeeze in crypto history and the crazy part is there was no news or catalyst that could have pushed the price like this.
I’ve never seen anything like this and I’ve seen a lot shit since 2016.
So there are two possibilities:
1. Insiders know the Clarity Act is passing in September and loaded up aggressively, triggering liquidations.
2. A big entity used thin liquidity to push the price higher with intense buying, purposely triggering forced short liquidations, and this move caught everyone off guard.
🚨 THE FED JUST SENT ONE OF ITS MOST BEARISH WARNINGS TO MARKETS THIS YEAR.
Multiple officials warned that further rate hikes may be necessary if inflation refuses to fall.
Three FOMC members already voted to raise rates by 25 BPS at the July meeting.
The Fed says inflation risks remain tilted higher, while some officials believe financial conditions still aren’t restrictive enough.
At the same time, the Fed says stock valuations are at extremes only surpassed during the dot-com bubble.
Officials also warned an AI disappointment could trigger a major stock repricing and tighter financial conditions.
Hedge fund leverage is near all-time highs, while repo and prime brokerage borrowing have hit record levels.
The Fed is now facing sticky inflation, extreme valuations and record leverage at the same time.
This is an extremely dangerous setup for markets.
🔥MASSIVE: Crypto just recorded the SECOND-LARGEST short liquidation wipeout on record, surpassed only by the October 10 crash.
October 10, 2025: $2.46 BILLION
August 19, 2026: $1.74 BILLION
