I’ve seen this new therapist 4 times and every time we talk about my dog dying. Today I said we were looking for a new dog and she asked if I’ve had a dog before. Should I find a new therapist
The coolest thing about being an American right now is if I pay my taxes I'm not paying for better infrastructure, roads, or social services. I'm paying for some guy across the ocean to shoot a kid in the head with a sniper rifle. Oh, and I'm paying for his health care too.
Trump and his family have now made $4 BILLION off the presidency, including more than $3 billion from crypto alone.
Here’s a radical idea. What about having a president who wants to improve the financial well-being of ALL Americans, not just his own family and fellow oligarchs.
In that case i would have died 10 years ago. Ill have 9 years clean in October, and have turned my life completely around. On the flip side, i have friends that no one found quick enough to save. Their kids, and families still hurt. They were loved, and are missed by many. Not every person that ODs is a homeless criminal. Probably have a few in your family that u dont even know are hooked on drugs. How would u like to get a phone call that you kid, your brother, your mom was just found OD’d… and they didnt even try to save their life?
Scientific research reveals that practicing gratitude physically rewires your brain.
Expressing gratitude is far more than a polite gesture; it is a biological catalyst that physically reshapes the human brain. Through the process of neuroplasticity, consistently focusing on appreciation strengthens neural circuits linked to emotional regulation and resilience. This habit triggers the immediate release of dopamine and serotonin—the body’s natural feel-good chemicals—while simultaneously lowering levels of the stress hormone cortisol. By activating the prefrontal cortex and the hypothalamus, gratitude provides a natural boost to mental health, effectively training the mind to prioritize well-being over distress.
Beyond immediate mood improvements, a dedicated gratitude practice shifts the brain’s fundamental operating mode from survival to growth. While the human brain is naturally wired for threat detection, intentional thankfulness trains it to scan the environment for opportunities and positive outcomes instead. Whether through journaling or verbal acknowledgment, this repetitive focus builds lasting synaptic connections that make optimistic thinking an automatic habit. Over time, this mental shift fosters a more balanced emotional state, proving that the simple act of noticing the good can yield profound and permanent neurological benefits.

every time you replace “this is hard” with “what’s the first step?” you shift brain activity from your amygdala (fear) to your prefrontal cortex (problem-solving).
that’s neuroplasticity in real time.
Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
All 168 Iranian schoolgirls would be alive, the Strait of Hormuz would be open, and gas would be $2.85 a gallon if Trump had gone to prison for his crimes.
Trump ameaçou o Papa.
A resposta do Papa: "Chega de idolatria ao eu e ao dinheiro! Chega de exibição de poder! Chega de guerra! A verdadeira força se manifesta no serviço à vida".
E Roma está novamente de pé...

He says now is the time to restrain Israel and cut off its military funding to stop it.
He says Israel’s word should never be trusted because they are absolute liars.
