There's only ONE week left until @FloridaState's spring commencement ceremonies, and we're celebrating our #FSU2026 graduates! 🎓
Cole Pridgen will cross the stage on Friday evening to accept his bachelor's in computational science from the FSU Department of Scientific Computing (@FSUSciComp).
His Honors in the Major research analyzed various convolutional neural networks — a type of deep learning model — and assessed their ability to classify lymphoma subtypes.
"This experience was impactful toward not just my own personal diagnosis with Burkitt's lymphoma, but understanding the importance of high-level accuracy within clinical applications and the use of computational methods in medical practice."
After graduation, Pridgen will pursue a master's in data science at @Columbia, and this summer, he'll be a business operations analyst for Hatch, a platform for AI-driven business solutions.
