@mikeemvee @Neomatter3420@OBSProject Doesn't necessarily have to be at 60, but at a value where the game isn't using all of the GPU's power, which takes a bit more tweaking then just limiting to 60.
@mikeemvee @Neomatter3420@OBSProject There are other things that can affect OBS, like the Windows Game Mode.
In general it's recommended to cap your game at a certain FPS where there is some headroom for OBS to do it's thing.
@mikeemvee @Neomatter3420@OBSProject@streamlabs This scene compositing is done on the GPU as that's the most efficient place to do it, but it will use a bit of the GPU's power.
@mikeemvee @Neomatter3420@OBSProject@streamlabs Shadowplay does not do any kind of scene compositing, whereas Xsplit and OBS do need to do that to put all the sources into 1 image.
@mikeemvee @OBSProject That is not something that OBS can fix, OBS needs a bit of GPU power, if the game is using it all, then OBS(and/or the game) will have issues.
@mikeemvee @Neomatter3420@OBSProject@streamlabs It's not an issue with just OBS, it's an issue with other similar streaming tools. Shadowplay is not similar.
@AjKappaa Well, it's not the only reason why game capture wouldn't work, it's just that it definitely won't work if OBS runs on the Intel. Join the OBS discord for further help. https://t.co/qnbNwlQEkH
@ChrisSpiegl@elgatogaming@OBSProject No other application besides the elgato software works with the HD60S on macOS. Elgato does not provide drivers that let's you use their device in other applications on macOS.
@xOGxRockstaR @WizardCM@OBSProject The way you enable/disable it has changed between versions though, as evidenced by people replying that they have no option to turn it off globally.
@Dangerbreed @OBSProject@Twitch Yeah, a false positive. There is no trojan in there. It is just the antivirus flagging it because its not a common download.
@MattDethridge @Soltek1h @comcast@OBSProject I can say it's definitely not an issue in OBS, otherwise this would be a lot more common. Does it actually give you some notification that it disconnects or does it just stop streaming? In the latter case it could be an accidental hotkey press.
