Lol the Twitter webapp is trying to load something from its internal graphql API and getting a 429 Too Many Requests response. Twitter's Javascript ignores the error and tries again, hundreds of times a second.

No actually lists are broken. The reason it takes far less time to read tweets is because a large chunk of tweets are missing from the timeline. The "show more tweets" link is missing and refreshing the list doesn't fix this error.
Following 1500+ people and first time noticing that Twitter TL isn’t constantly getting new posts which means huge engagement drop that feeds itself. Happening on FB and IG for a while. Network Decay Era.
I recognize that my use of this app is an edge case and I also recognize that spending less time here is probably very healthy. So I file this under the folder of observations and not in the bin of whinges.

Recent changes to Twitter lists have sadly broken how I use this site and I've noticed I'm spending far less time on the app. I think the changes were meant to boost engagement and they have had the opposite effect.

Now it takes a couple of minutes to scroll through the same content. The engagement numbers may be up, but my actual engagement is sharply lower. And maybe that's a good thing as the quality and performance of the app has taken huge hits in the last six months.
