Going to add some 1/72 figures from #3DJason primed and ready for paint. I bought some 1/144 uboat crew for a previous build at the same time to give some scale. These figures are awesome π
@slowmademodels@Rheumatoidman Agree Tamiya and real colours lacquer are my go to, Vallejo as a last resort if no other option, usually turns to sludge.

Just about there. An overall coat of #Tamiya XF86 Flat clear then fixed the tail along with the front blister, undercarriage ready to install along with the front glazing just the guns to paint beforehand πππ

Decals applied not many but the fuselage stars are difficult to get to sit flat around the wind deflectors loads of #Microset still more required. Tailcode made up from a Ventura number set ππ

Wings glued on, thought about leaving them seperate for the clearcoat but decided against it, taiplane will be left for last. Gun turrets painted and assembled and props painted #nearlythereπππ
@Rheumatoidman@Paulxhxs Brings back memories of my fortress II build when I discovered the airframe I had built and painted didn't have a ball turret, I couldn't leave it so had to do some surgery and try to match the white, I'm sure a man of your skill can repair thatπ€
