El arquitecto burkines levantará el LVMA en el área de Symphony Park, junto al Discovery Children's Museum y el Smith Center for the Performing Arts. El LVMA contará con la colaboración del LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), institución de la que tomará prestada su colección de arte.
Inspirado en el desierto de Mojave y la tradición constructiva local, el proyecto de presenta dos pisos de espacios expositivos elevados sobre un vestíbulo y plaza abierta. El comienzo de la construcción, con un coste estimado de 150 millones de dólares, está previsto para antes de febrero de 2027.
