Ken Paxton is going to win.
Grok @bot ordered itself a body, then called me to walk through the assembly and electronics.

For once I agree w/ this idiot. I'm sick and tired of Elon kept on missing his promises:
1/
Promised: Mars.
Delivered: internet anywhere on Earth. Rural kids get online classes, disaster zones get comms back.
Starlink. Total flop.
2/
Promised: self-driving in 2019.
Delivered: self-driving in 2026.
Seven years late. Unforgivable. Your car still can't do it at all, but sure.
3/
Promised: cut $2 trillion in federal spending.
Delivered: "only" ~$215B.
Pathetic. Barely a rounding error.
4/
Promised: humans on Mars by 2024.
Delivered: a 70-meter rocket booster caught out of the air by the launch tower's "chopsticks." October 2024.
Can't even land it on the ground like a normal rocket.
5/
Promised: a brain chip called Telepathy.
Delivered: a paralyzed man playing chess and Civilization VI with his mind.
Neuralink. Still no telepathy. Fraud.
6/
Promised: end the fossil fuel era.
Delivered: Model Y, the best-selling car in the world in 2023. Not best-selling EV. Best-selling car.
Gas cars still exist. Failed.
7/
Promised: https://t.co/bpt7QJVmwK would replace your bank. 1999.
Delivered: PayPal and basically modern online payments.
Your bank still exists, doesn't it? Exactly.
8/
Promised: cheap rockets.
Delivered: boosters that land themselves and fly again, like an airplane.
The rest of the industry still throws theirs in the ocean. Elon is the weird one here.
9/
Promised: humans to Mars.
Delivered: the only American ride to the space station since 2020, ending NASA's reliance on Russian Soyuz seats. Then gave Boeing's stuck Starliner astronauts a ride home in 2025.
Mars still empty. Disgraceful.
10/
Promised: a Tesla Roadster that can fly ten years ago.
Delivered: in 2028
Clown!
END
Ten failures. Imagine what he'd do if he actually delivered.
NASA and @SpaceX have just shared new images of "Cabin 1" inside Starship for future astronaut missions. It's built in Starfactory at Starbase, Texas.
They also shared some new renderings of Artemis III docking adapter:
SpaceX is aiming for at least 50 Starship launches in 2027.
One Starship can launch as much Starlink capacity as 20 Falcon 9.
When you understand this it makes sense that they are moving to transition to Starship quickly.

ABC News whistleblower swears under penalty of perjury that the Kamala Harris campaign received questions ahead of time and directed the debate.
Affidavit was signed September 9th, the day before the debate.
This is a major scandal!
People have no real concept that we’re one election away from Democrats essentially dissolving the republic.
Nobody wants to believe it, but they’re saying it out loud and they mean it.
This isn’t grandstanding or pandering to the base for them. This is the plan and it will happen the moment they have the power to execute it.
Americans have a deep normalcy bias based on 160 years of near-continuous success, prosperity, and stability. Nobody thinks it can end, not really.
But Democrats want to end it all to seize permanent power, and young progressives want to burn it all down after that.
We have not been in a similar place nationally since 1861. Wake up.
@SawyerMerritt Do you have any theories on why the service area seems to have stalled in expansion?
Part of me thinks they expanded only to surpass Waymo and won’t until Waymo makes a move but I don’t like that as the reasoning.
Any insight?
Tesla has just expanded its Robotaxi service area in Austin, Texas.
The new service area now includes the area around Austin’s F1 racetrack, where 400,000 people will attend the race festivities this weekend. Tesla's Robotaxi service also now runs until 1 AM (from 12 AM before)
Ethan Klein apologizes for his use of the n-word any and every time it's brought up.
Has Hasan ever apologized for his use of the word, both in private, as he's previously admitted, and on TYT?
The older I get though, the more i understand why we genuinely need people like that for a functioning society. We need people that make a big deal over rules and order. We need people that care a lot and make a big deal over "nothing".
I've lived in the same apartment building in Tokyo for 11 years.
I know zero names.
That's normal here. We nod in the elevator. We do not speak.
Then Mike moved in on the third floor.
Ohio. Six-foot-four. Laughs like a truck starting up.
Day 1: He knocked on every door with a plate of cookies.
(In Japan, when you move in, you give your neighbors a small towel. Then you leave. Mike gave cookies. Then he stayed and talked.)
Week 1: He knew everyone's name. Including the dog's.
Then there was Mrs. Sato on the first floor.
She's 84. Her husband passed away ten years ago. She lives alone.
In 11 years, I had never heard her voice.
Every Tuesday, Mike carried her groceries up the steps. She didn't speak English. He didn't speak Japanese.
They talked anyway. Mostly about the photo of her husband by the door.
Then one morning, her curtains stayed closed.
Mike noticed.
Nobody else did. I didn't.
He knocked. No answer. He called the building manager.
She had fallen the night before. She'd been on the floor all night.
She's okay now.
But the building isn't the same.
People say good morning. The elevator has conversations.
Last month, we had our first rooftop potluck. Nobody knew what a potluck was. Mike explained it twice.
Mrs. Sato brought 40 rice balls.
And then she laughed at something Mike said.
That was the first time I ever heard her voice.
Mike moved back to Ohio this week.
On his last morning, the whole building came down to the lobby. Kids. Grandparents. The dog.
Mrs. Sato handed him a box.
Inside: one thousand paper cranes.
In Japan, you fold a thousand cranes for someone you want to protect. Her hands shake. She had been folding them since the day he found her.
Then she said the English sentence she had practiced every day for a week.
"Please... come back."
Mike was crying too hard to answer in English.
So he answered in the Japanese he had been secretly practicing.
"Kanarazu kaette kimasu."
In Japanese, that doesn't mean "I'll visit."
It's what you say when you're coming home.
As a gay guy I was in the Democratic Party from age 18 to 2024. Now the Democrats will celebrate national coming out day and pride month then drag your dead body through the mud for being gay. Cool doublespeak, guys. Why would I ever come back to that very fake and very ghey party?
