@HardFiat@FUDdaily Arab Spring worked because the CIA was busy backing it and USAID was paying people to protest....
Don't see them doing the same for the English, Irish, and Scottish people, mate.
@infantrydort Yes. A couple of years ago I actually did a "terrain walk" during AT of that beach with my Reserve Unit. Lincoln actually went ashore during the initial recon.
@RenAndSkimpy692@mckaycoppins@YAppelbaum Yeah, no. My ancestors got here in the mid-17th to early 18th centuries. Two of my relatives were in the militia on Lexington Green. You don't get to insult the gift to my children passed through me by those ancestors. We built America; don't like it, leave.
@RaltsAuthor The problem is that a basic cyber guy can make serious money outside of the military. A lot do their 6 years and get out and start making double. It needs to be a national guard "technician" job where they are paid as civilians, but stay in the military as a reservist.
@JohnFort68@Gingerblast You'd roll an Int or Wis check back in the 1E/2E days. Detect Hidden Doors and Traps have been skills/abilities since the beginning.
@ChiefEngineerCE A couple of years later the head of the IRS admitted they never even looked at the offline/cold storage where her emails would be stored. Don't think they ever got turned over to Congress.
@cynicallycute Of those choices, usually Lowes cause I would pass 3 Lowes, 2 Tractor Supplies, and a Rural King before I got to the closest Home Depot.
@TheBuddyCSM I was reading that earlier today. Are they seriously about to take away my Gen-X/GWOT Sideburn that I have had since I enlisted right after 9/11.....
@Jringo1508 I was lucky taking High School Physics at the same time as AP Calc so I was working with the practical and theoretical lines at the same time. Without that I don't think they would have made as much sense.
@wayofftheres@TheHaoleBones@thestinkeye Based on what I have read from them and heard from you, their approach (Dozing size and number of times) sounded like it was very similar to yours.
@TheHaoleBones@wayofftheres@thestinkeye I'm also interested in his take, bought a couple of shares of the company last year when I heard about their research.
@ColonelTowner For me it made it was the absolute lack of understanding in the 2003 invasion of Iraq. There were dozens of books talking about the need for a 24-hour logistics pause after 48-72 of operations during Desert Storm and yet the media were running "quagmire" headlines at every pause.
@physicsgeek My issues with property tax assessments is the government should be required to pay that same amount, in tax free cash, to purchase the property from the owners. And that business shouldn't be exempted. Remove the incentivization to raise them untethered from market realities.
