Rival Trinibad artistes K Man and Plumpy Boss have agreed to a truce, marking a major shift in a longstanding rivalry publicly associated with Trinidad and Tobago’s opposing Sixx and Seven/Rasta City factions.
The agreement was announced on Saturday, August 22, during a media briefing at Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander’s Tunapuna Constituency Office. Justice Minister Devesh Maharaj was also present.
Both artistes have survived separate gun attacks and previously faced charges under Trinidad and Tobago’s Anti Gang Act. Those matters remain allegations and should not be treated as convictions.
The truce is being viewed as a potentially significant step towards reducing violence and encouraging peace within the Trinibad movement.
