1. #Syria is one of the countries very close to my heart since the adventurous trip we did to visit amazing cultural heritage sites in 2010 b4 the hell broke. I have traveled 2 almost 70 countries, almost nowhere I witnessed such hospitality by locals (Photo from Palmyra 2010)

2. Some of those people that hosted us at their humble homes, helped us to get medical care and drove us for free 600 km to the border when my mom fell ill, they reached out to me after 2011 crying for help to leave the country as they were not safe at home anymore.
