@ClaytonCapital@liensofnewyork Interesting point - I guess I wasn't saying you cannot. I was more referring to puristic views on capturing idio returns and the inherent inability of most fundamental people to predict macro more accurately than the market, hence diluting performance by taking those bets.
@liensofnewyork Ackman crashing out is the only thing keeping the pods alive - the world is burning but at least we are not doing as bad as his Nike call options
@DueDoctor The stock should not be down 3% vs LLY on this. I fully understand the argument that people are making with demand side issue, but KOL calls don't suggest that. If anything shows confidence in supply and hence potential to inflect Rx. $NVO should be up today.
@DueDoctor Want to preface this by saying I am not a $NVO shill account (although my very short history of tweets sure makes it seem that way), but if you just look at this for what it is, you finally have something that competes with $LLY direct and get volumes from an untapped population
Quants pressing their shorts on $ZEAL, will be interesting to see how the stock moves next week given lots of investors meeting with management at conference. Partnering is key and people are missing the point of partner with specs pointing to $ROG and $PFE. $ZEAL wants 1L focus.
@lf1shr Prefacing all of this by saying I am rather short-term, but given the Catalyst pathway and assuming Orfo readout is not CagriSema 2.0, really need to view all of these stocks on catalyst by catalyst basis; $NVO really about IQVIA Rx; $LLY about Orfo; $ZEAL about partner
Quite curious to see how much the market will care when $LLY publishes Eloralintide data that disappoints on weight loss and if that creates more excitement for the balanced Calcitonin and Amylin receptor targeting in $NVO, $ZEAL and $GUBRA
Amazing how asleep at the wheel people are in $NVO, up 130bps on announcement of shortage ending and now up 5% on $HIMS which should be more or less non-event.
People that still think current #NVO movement is just from the CagriSema readout in December should take a step back and think about if Pharma is really a sector they should be trading in - looking at you Mr. Generalist Long Only that is just looking for comfort from the sellside
