One year ago today was my first day at the appliance repair company I acquired. I don’t have a thread of “what I’ve learned” exactly.
I do have a few observations that’ll be helpful to 1st time acquirers and familiar to veterans:
@RoryTyer I just discovered its ability to extract text from images yesterday. It was flawless! Super easy to screenshot something and paste into Chat without even having to bother saving and looking for a file!
@fambizjournal Same for me, but even more “I dunno.” Sure there are things I think most of us Americans would like to see but the number of us that have any clue what would get us there is minuscule. And I’m not one. So I dunno.
@RoryTyer That is amazing. With any luck she’ll be into and out of the scream-o phase by 12 and it’ll be smooth sailing from there. But seriously I’m so glad there are people in this world who can put together words like that because I can’t and I’m older than 5.
@RoryTyer Negative effects of 1) companies only posting wins/sales/promos/loss leaders and 2) not much data on pricing available so much of it is old and 3) people that post about prices online are the ones who care a lot and find lowest & don’t use high-professionalism companies.
@blueprintsmb22 Truth. Just lost my dad to cancer recently. I miss being able to tell him something or do something together. Don’t think for a second about how much money he made.
Friend: “I love your outfit!”
Me: Thanks! It has pockets!
Did you know sea otters have flaps of loose skin under each forearm that they use like a pocket? What are these pockets full of? (Well, it's not sunshine.)
