We sold our company!
A few weeks ago, 2U Laundry acquired The Folde.
They build beautiful laundromats through their laundromat franchise concept - LaundroLab.
Now we’re helping them launch delivery laundry service out of these laundromats - all over the country.
New rule -
If you don't build the beautiful laundromat and write the website copy, you don't get to tweet about it.
Though I suppose that would put a lot of laundromat influencers out of a job...
I'm so confused by this.
It has to be a bot, right?
He/it is pulling photos and copy direct from our website and tweeting them without really any other context.
He's not selling coins or pushing his Only Fans account. The links seem real. What gives?
Have I been away from Twitter so long that I don't know how these new-era bots work?
Gym Towel Laundry Service Isn’t a One Size Fits All Solution
So, we don’t treat it like one…
Some use a laundry service as a replacement for their washing machines while others just use us when things start falling behind.
Most businesses opt for custom quoted recurring laundry programs. Oftentimes, these are quoted on a per pound basis – like a traditional laundry service. These programs handle your scheduling and pricing on an individual account level.
2ULaundry is a fully insured small business laundry partner. We hire full-time, W2 laundry specialists – no gig workers or Uber drivers. We operate out of our network of absolutely beautiful laundromats.
@arthurk192 Yeah. We have a couple options - this being the base option. Epoxy is the premium.
Personally, I like the lower entry cost and lower maintenance & replacement costs.
But, it sure doesn’t pop the same as the pink epoxy flakes.
We gave away 18,000 pounds of free laundry to over 450 folks at our grand openings in Dallas last week.
Awesome stores. Awesome operators.
I’m excited for Dallas.
One of our fleet managers is on a bit of a road trip moving a van from Phoenix to Austin.
He’s having fun.
And he’s keeping us updated along the way with some pretty great photos.
We work really hard to get custom requests detailed in writing, photos/videos taken as part of onboarding, and stored to a customer-level page that our team can click in the apps.
Sometimes it is how to fold. Most of the time it is exactly where to deliver. Front desk folks love to complain that we set the laundry bag on the right side of the closet, not the left...
Laundry is probably a bit different because we don't unpack the bags for the customer. But, I highly recommend photos and excessive notes. Though, even our "click to learn more" buttons in the employee app that lead to a customer-level Notion page only work about 70% of the time. There is still a real reliance on 1) the employee clicking it and 2) the employee doing it as the photos/notes say.
Oh, and we charge for it. It's a premium offering. You get it our way and if you want it different we will give it a shot - for a higher price.
No hotel towels folded as swans though!
