@LunaLightPrime @mexipika@Q_Review Also the most ridiculous plots and tropes are more plausible when it’s high school because teenagers are capable of actions that are simultaneously stupid and machiavellian
@mikeyface A 4-minute video essay? Fake! A real video essayist would spend 4 minutes on running gags, tangents and showing off the set design. At 4:15, they’d be like “Part 1: A brief overview of James Cameron’s career.” We wouldn’t even get to the Avatar sequel until the 40-minute mark
@jk_rowling I remember you as a woman expressing sadness over a young child being excluded from your book reading because of his religious parents. Now you’re using the logic of the people who called your books satanic as an own while sending harrassment over the mildest of takes. Why?
@nypost If boomers called in sick more often, that one bitch wouldn’t have given covid to my mom who then unknowingly (because mom had no symptoms) gave it to my grandma resulting in her death 🙃
@SchrodingrsBrat Do that with unpopular opinions on pop culture. Astrology or MBTI aren’t opinions to entertain but pseudoscience that lets you judge others based on bs. The date who tolerates it either doesn’t care or wants to get you in bed. It’s not an accurate measure of anything meaningful
@OrchardMarie93 People often forget that even William was considered a hottie at 21. That’s too young to look like a middle-aged father of 3 even for an inbred English royal
@PWJT8D217 @fisackerly I once watched every deleted scene available for this movie for some reason. The scrapped subplots included stereotypical Africans off PSA posters and a lesbian couple storyline where one of them dies. It’s hard to believe that movie could have been even worse and yet…
@JackCWard99 I actually shoplifted some cheese like that once because I forgot I’d put it there. I felt so bad I came back later that day with the cheese, did more shopping and paid properly. I can’t imagine the humiliation I’d have felt if I had been stopped at any point of that story
@JackCWard99 I’m an impulsive shopper, so practically every time I go to a supermarket to buy one or two things and decide not to take a cart, I end up with an armful of snacks and have no choice but to put some of them in my pockets. I can’t imagine being apprehended because of that
@NotYourCorpse What does “its own civilization” mean? People have always traveled and participated in cultural exchange. Or do you think the Greeks sprouted out from the ground and immediately created “their own” civilization?
@NotYourCorpse Do you think a committee gathered on purpose for that? The names happened organically based on nature and agriculture. Try-hard is naming months and days of the week after gods, though then the rest of Europe lazily copied those names when they didn’t even worship those gods
