@danwootton You lot are going full Israel and accusing everyone of what you do! You constantly invite hatred to groups or individuals and never take responsibility
@TRobinsonNewEra Is this a message from 2010? What is the relevance of it now? Going this week was presumably being voted out not being killed in her home.
@MickCoffey2@mattzarb@garyseconomics Yeah that was the first I'd seen on it. It is so simplistic to say that wealth taxes have been tried elsewhere and failed. There are ways of analysing why and addressing. Also the response that the wealthy won't I vest or will move is just such a status quo dead end!
@mattzarb@garyseconomics If wealth taxes could be funnelled into reduced business rates, cutting employer national insurance, helping small businesses then that would seem a win win. More independent shops, retained employment etc
Its 36 years since one of the most famous deceptions in history.
A deception the US deep state invented to justify the bloody first invasion of Iraq.
"Kuwaiti girl" Naira tearfully testified before the US Congress in October 1990, where she claimed to have witnessed horrific scenes in one of Kuwait's hospitals
"Iraqi soldiers stormed the hospital, threw newborn babies out of incubators, and left them to die on the cold floor!"
The story pushed the country to war. US senators passed a resolution to invade Iraq by a margin of five votes. Seven of them believed the girl's words.
Two months before the testimony, 17% of Americans supported US involvement in the conflict. Two months later, nearly half of Americans believed military intervention was necessary.
After the war ended, it was revealed that Naira was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US, and her story was fabricated by the PR agency Hill & Knowlton, hired by the Kuwaiti government. During the first Iraq war over 135,000 Iraqis were killed.
@wosoprincess Hahah, "by the grace of god I am not an awful English" checks notes, she's just a gun tooting, war mongering, junk food fanatic. Maybe you're not, but don't judge English by our football fans
@ben_bowman_ Dan, Dan, Dan!!! It's not Dan (/natural left sided player to offer balance going forward, this tuchel blaming himself for not watching spurs this season and foreseeing such an issue)..... Dan!
@sufferingspurs It was a typical performance. Actually started well in first 10 mins. Made one bad ball and his game and confidence completely fell apart
@Victoria_Spratt Whether the building works are acceptable or not is the role of Planning. If the developer has undertaken works that have impacted you property then that is a legal issue and nothing to do with planning enforcement
