@Safernoc934 @BBCRadio4Extra I went there about 15 years ago & found the site of the Beagle. It was used as a customs ship. I think it was a floating home for staff/families rather than a sailing vessel. The copper bottom was sold and I think some of the fishermen’s sheds used parts of the Beagle.
=a sad end
