@TheGoodPreside1 @NessunDormaEra@Purechaos611@klprose@kcampbell024@TheMomNextDoor_@DannyDeVito See what I mean? We have so much more in common than in contrast. there is so much more we can do to help families thrive in this country. Whether abortion is legal or not is like the last thing that would actually help our families.
@TheGoodPreside1 @NessunDormaEra@Purechaos611@klprose@kcampbell024@TheMomNextDoor_@DannyDeVito I just think there is an advantage for the people in power to keep people like us fighting over this. We both thought abortion was more prolific than it actually is and the propaganda machine around abortion in politics prevents any of us from understanding each other.
@TheGoodPreside1 @NessunDormaEra@Purechaos611@klprose@kcampbell024@TheMomNextDoor_@DannyDeVito You know, I actually thought there were more abortions annually than there actually are. I just checked the CDC website and it was around 690,000 abortions annually, of 3.7 million live births last year. I thought it was more- so it’s actually only like 0.18%
@TheGoodPreside1 @NessunDormaEra@Purechaos611@klprose@kcampbell024@TheMomNextDoor_@DannyDeVito A lot of Americans are struggling this same way without the cost of childcare. They are working two jobs already and can’t imagine how they could find the time to be with or care for their kid, much less afford it.
@TheGoodPreside1 @NessunDormaEra@Purechaos611@klprose@kcampbell024@TheMomNextDoor_@DannyDeVito So for me daycare is $1400/month. That’s for one kid. My mortgage is also $1600/month and for our family of 3 our healthcare is $780/month. We struggle to find the time to work enough to actually cover these costs.
