@stianchrister@KevinNaughtonJr No. You could return any integer in this context. Tradition holds that 0 is returned to indicate that program exit is without errors, other value = error, but the int is not even mandatory. void main() with no return also works, but not following the standard.

The last Bash version not using GPLv3 was used before and that is now ancient.
