@sbellman523@NHLRumourReport Imo the biggest issue is the #2 seed playing the #3 seed of the same division in the very first round. You get very similar matchups year after year and also it often involves two teams that should each be playing weaker opponents first.
@scorp51301@Strummer2323 That's how I read it, that she was merely saying he was the one that talked to the execs, not that there was something illegal that was done.
@Red_Jawn@BughThom@Strummer2323 Gee, y'all get condescending really fast, don't you? Is it at all possible that she's just saying that Obama, as a private citizen, asked them to do it and that she wasn't saying that anything illegal was done? Because that's how I read it.
@Rothmus This is pretty disingenuous. Trump and his followers are the ones who spend all their time sh!tting on Canada and talking about a 51st state.
"What is Canada? π€ͺ "
Ok, if you want to portray yourselves as idiots, then go ahead, I guess.
@ChuKribi@WomenBeingAwful I think at some point they decided that using "victim" to describe the person wasn't optimal, so they decided on "survivor" instead.
@dyingscribe "Why are you focusing on women and not the rapists?" is the usual reply.
Which is basically like responding to "don't leave the door to your house wide open when you leave to go somewhere " with "why are you focused on the residents and not the burglars?"
@TheDolphinJoe@sportspessimism@WashRick Yeah, I've never liked that rule, where the ref says he INTENDED to blow the whistle, but hadn't yet, for the simple fact that we're forced to take his word for it. But it is the rule.
@Jef_Musab@PuckReportNHL@FriedgeHNIC I mean, I get it. He gave them 11 seasons and only made the playoffs in his first year, where they got eliminated in 5 in the first round. Now he's about to turn 30 and Detroit still isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
@madzulp@ME1295003495650 I haven't seen many people calling it hypocrisy, to be fair. But, traumatic response or not, it's self-destructive behavior that they need to address, ideally with a professional therapist.
@1967Hey@HabsInfinity He scored the first goal against TB game 5, didn't he? And before he was pulled for the rest of the playoffs, he had the same number of goals as Caufield.
