@JasonClareMP@aclennell@SkyNewsAust Surely you mean a VET qualification? TAFE is a small % of total supply of post-secondary non-university qualifications.
@TaxpayersParty@RizviAbul Not all international students go to uni. Other providers do not have the resources universities do to even consider providing accommodation. Also limits on PBSA asset classes limit investment to boost that category of housing supply.
@andrewjnorton I wonder what this looks like comparing VET Dip to Bach? Assuming the Cert III/IV to Bach comparison is in part because both represent entry level employment quals from each sector, and Dip tends to be more upskilling.
@CFieldAssoc I wonder about the mix of RTOs these students are/were enrolled with, how many of those still have VSL contracts, and who else might yet be identified
@CFieldAssoc A massive gulf between development and implementation for VET packages. Accelerating one does not necessarily speed up the other given complexities of funding, unit use across quals, and the influence of the RTO Standards
@CFieldAssoc @jodi_n_schmidt@HSSOAus Not just the VET sector but employers relying on it, schools utilising and feeding into it, higher ed adjacent to it, licensing bodies, regulators and funders. All without mentioning the students and VET workforce.
@JackieAnneV @CraigKellyMP Lodge a complaint with ACMA. I did it today in response to an unsolicited UAP text authorised by Mr Kelly. Got confirmation from ACMA within minutes. No idea if it will work but itโs done.
