Many dreams are coming together in planning a medicinal healing plant nursery on Water for the Future’s pilot site, which contributes to our creation of a green urban corridor. There has been a remarkable meeting of minds between environmental artist Hannelie Coetzee /1
and hold a discussion on many complexities that traditional healers are facing in securing special plants. This is an evolving story and one that WFTF is so proud to be a part of producing. /5
After months of planning, we commemorated World Wetlands Day (02 Feb) with WFTF and community members clearing a former wetland of trash and felled wood. The field lies over the river, which prior to development was a wetland.
