Watching these two Airlink Embraers skim over DHL Stadium in Cape Town is one of those moments that looks completely insane from the ground.

This was a planned flyby for the Springboks–All Blacks match, but the aircrafts were extremely low.

From my own aviation perspective, the aircraft can handle this kind of manoeuvre. The real concern with flying this low is the reduced recovery margin. If something unexpected happens an engine, wind, speed or control issue there’s very little altitude and time to correct it. ✈️
