Great talk on ICU multidisciplinary code simulations by our phenomenal STICU team of Jordan Macri, PA-C and Jenna Perrodin STICU nurse educator. #SCCM2024#SCCMSoMe
@BBankheadMD Exact same scenario in our house, trauma and EM. Backup call and ICU home call make some nights spicy but hold on to good help when you can find it!

I am very excited to announce that @ClayBurlew is joining @cugites Division as a Professor of Surgery and Program Director of the ACGME-approved Surgical Critical Care Fellowship and the @traumadoctors - approved Trauma & Acute Care Surgery Fellowship. @CUDeptSurg
Hey @traumadoctors fellowship directors…in 2 years please keep an eye out for Dr. Margot Debot - currently one of @CUDeptSurg residents in the lab. And @JuliaColemanMD - why haven’t you convinced her to be on Twitter?🧐😊 #COT2022
@ElliotServaisMD Agreed. Non-op =/= conservative. As a wise mentor used to say “Sometimes the patient you’re most afraid to operate on is the one who most needs an operation”. Sickest won’t tolerate failure of non-op management (severe liver failure seems like an obvious exception to this rule).
Why has the United States handled this pandemic so badly? The Editors note that although we came into this crisis with enormous advantages, our current political leaders have demonstrated that they are dangerously incompetent.
