@lee_sheldo81996 @mualottienya @brontkii the fact that they have a very similar visual on their background stage… you could really tell they were “heavily inspired” by newjeans, yes they did not own the concept but they were the BLUEPRINT. even the illit’s crowd thought it was newjeans. stop being denial.
@sananviz hah? timeloop itu terjadi karna aurora merah bukan karna keinginan Sore… trs jg gimana ceritanya Jo mau timeloop… orangnya kan udah meninggal 😭?
@delaeaea@corpselikequeen this. ppl missed the point of the movie is self development for both of character. Sore taught us that griefing and fixing someone isn’t going to work and u need to learn to let go. Jo taught us that you need to face your own problem in order to change yourself.
@C8H9N02 the funny thing is the movie actually teach us about that. Jo changed himself after he battled with his own problem. the main key is for Jo to fix himself, not Sore. Because after all, we should love ourself first before loving someone, dan perubahan datang dari diri sendiri.
@NyimasLaula yes i also believe every art has political and societal attachment yet i do see the bigger picture and widen the perspective of the movie. since we live in a patriarchal environment (especially indo), i could see why people believe the movie has patriarchal element in it
@NyimasLaula filmnya justru membantah about “you’re obligated to fix your partner” type of stuff, it’s more of a “you need to love yourself first before loving someone” bc kedua nya meet cute after keduanya ngalamin masa acceptance & loving themselves, not only just bc Sore ngulang2 waktu
@NyimasLaula imo if the genders were swapped, the core themes could still land similarly, because the movie isn’t built on a gendered power system, but on emotional connection and self-improvement
