Every year I keep count of my tarawih rakat with the musalla tassels and every year my sister slates me for it but this year is my first ramadan without her and she sent me this😭
There are people in your community this Ramadan who since last year have lost their loved ones and feel a great void in their lives.
There are others who have lost their jobs and are feeling vulnerable and uncertain about their immediate futures.
There are those who are sick or struggling in multiple ways. Aside from praying for them, if you can be intentional about finding them and supporting them, that would be a major blessing and perhaps a means by which your own month of worship is accepted.
And if you are one of those mentioned above, may Allah help you to find the strength to persevere and grant you a station in Paradise you would have never thought was within reach. Ameen
Better days will come. Don't let your waiting period make you sad. There's divine timing in every situation. Believe in Allah's mercy. He will fill your hands with blessings He has written for you on the right time.
social media is so weird like i randomly get this violent urge to no longer be perceived and i just need to deactivate everything before i explode. i wonder if there’s a name for that feeling because i know i’m not alone.
once you understand that people can only meet you where they’ve met themselves, their inability to see you becomes less personal and becomes more emancipating; flowers to the work you’ve put into yourself and a compliment to your growth.
