@Willsturdy_ You should go to a retirement community fitness center. Old guys giving off medicine smells that’ll make you faint. They’re usually alone in a row of machines.
@WallStreetApes It’s crazy how people waste their income on things they absolutely feel are important. Look at all the tats, probably has an expensive phone etc…I was broke living on crappy furniture until 35. Now retired living comfortably and being blamed for ruining the world.
@TheSelfLab I’m in a retirement community. 4 fitness centers. I watch people every day trying to gain strength, balance and mobility…all too late. Most are thin and neglected strength training in their lives. Genetics play a part, but reality will cash the check for a life of neglect.
@BarnabyHistory The Department of Veterans Affairs paid the last civil war widow a pension into the 1960s. She married an old veteran in the early 1900s when she was young and died in the 1960s.
@anymanfitness Never fall in love with steel on wheels. That thing could leave you stranded next week. They all depreciate and are over priced. Think of them as tools. Take care of them best you can and hope for the best.
@Mario_Sneh The problem I have is they always ask a single male traveler. Never a female. I used to travel half the year and was exhausted so always paid for a better seat. I was often asked to switch seats and refused.
@BerryRazi I agree. Worked for the City of Scottsdale for the last part of my career. Tired of butting heads with know it alls. Moved out after 15 years living in the city. The Wests most Western town is now gone, replaced by wannabe lifestyle of the rich and famous types.
@JamesMelville Just tried a video doctor visit. They hounded me via texts to keep confirming the appt. Day of the appt. they gave me a 2 hour window for it to start. Got a text to start. Waited 40 Mn. Nothing. Called and was told I missed it. How is this possible.
@follard True this. Im in retirement and rent. Rented most of my life. I can rent nicer homes than I would have been able to purchase, in better neighborhoods. My kids went to better schools and no worries about upkeep. Pay the bank or the landlord. Renting gave me freedom to move.
