clearer first principles.
stronger conviction.
healthcare doesn’t reward recklessness.
it rewards moving fast responsibly.
maybe the ideal founder is young.
but, i’m focusing on becoming the kind who lasts.
“the ideal founder is 21 or younger.”
a journalist mentor told me this over matcha. not because greatness has a deadline, but because media attention does.
we’re fed the same archetypes:
• dropout YC founders
• high schoolers with a $XM exit
• operators building since 8-y-o
the quiet side effect?
pressure to move fast before you’re ready. exploring without direction.
but in healthcare, speed only matters if it’s pointed.
as I near the edge of this so-called “ideal” window, i’m not scrambling. i’m finally calibrated.
