@DocMCohen@ONThealth The updated link also includes the advice to “keep rapid tests on hand” so this suggests that people who are eligible can pick up tests BEFORE they are sick. Doctors and pharmacies should honor this common sense guidance.
@Kidsdoc1Rick@DrGorfinkel It was just updated in the last couple of days. The message about “temporary inventory constraint” has been removed and it allows you to place an order. I have not tried to order yet as my office has enough supply, but the email also states we can now order from this source.
@BogochIsaac Can you please clarify point 4 “little impact on hospitals” given the PHO summary showing a hospital occupancy rate 3 times that of Influenza?
A timeline of Ontario’s response to this surge. Too little, too late.
Aug 6- cases rising

@ONThealth@SabiVM@DaliaHasanMD@YoniFreedhoff @FourWinns29 @Billius27 The Ont vaccine booking portal is using the Sept 14th document not the Sept 22nd version 8.0. So, they are saying 6mo-4yr are not eligible for an updated vaccine. They referred me to this feedback page.
@McDevonMD @Sue_Innovates @DurhamHealth And I don’t believe you can book with the shortened interval through the online portal but you can if you call the booking line. At least this was the case in the spring.
@HPPublicHealth And, importantly, once you are no longer staying at home, ensure you do the following things to ensure you don’t spread illness to others.
@ONThealth@ONgov@SeniorsON@ChildrenON@OntarioHealthOH@ONeducation@ONlongtermcare Your link, updated Sept 14, 2023, advises wearing a tight fitting, well constructed mask in all public settings once your symptoms are improving and you are no longer isolating at home. This is recommended for 10 days after the start of symptoms. Please add this to your tweet.
