According to tradition the Asaro Mudmen fled into a river to escape an enemy tribe. Returning to their village covered in mud they had the appearance of pale spirits. Their foes fled in fear & to this day the Asaro still recreate this ghostly appearance 📷: @martini_simko (IG)
