@zhao_dashuai you are overreacting. no where does it say Singapore is blaming China. and also, Singapore is a multiracial country, and its leaders work very hard to maintain the fine balance of social cohesion and stay accountable to its people, unlike authoritarian China.
@Aisehman “Ignore, disregard, dismiss this at your own peril” sound very much like a threat. stop pinning all your problems to others. whatever animosity, hostility and entitlement is yours alone to resolve.
@mengarut_je Chill. no one is stealing anything. Nanyang coconut rice is a direct translation of nasi lemak. Nanyang (Southern Ocean) refers to southeast asian region. and Coconut rice is literally nasi lemak. dont let a properly translated food name freak u out.
@lurx06@AngelicaOung and you’re confusing ethnic minority’s language with dialects. Basically all of Singaporean chinese who spoke different dialects back then are the same ethnic Han chinese, unlike the ethnic minorities in China.
@lurx06@AngelicaOung Singaporean’s english not up to standard? whose standard? yours? lol. fyi Singapore has the highest english proficiency level in Asian.
@Mat_Jaket besides ‘Mandrin speaker’ Indian, Kadazan, Iban, Dayak, Bidayuh, Melanau, Bajau and all other fellow Malaysians and non Malaysians are welcome too.
@yeldrim24454 altho this is total savings and is compounded by interest but based on the total number of contributors vs other races logically chinese would pay more taxes too.
@yeldrim24454 For personal income tax, LHDN doesnt publish demographic or ethnicity. the closest number u can pick for reference is from KWSP to draw conclusion, and ethnic chinese malaysian contribute most to KWSP compared to other races. and by quite a large margin.
