Some unique qualities of the Christian life:
1. Your worst days are never a waste
2. Weakness is both aspirational & attainable
3. Your hope lies infinitely beyond the circumstantial
4. Maturity is measured by a progressive lack of self-focus
5. Joy is not theoretical
@mfreyd I’m happy for you, @mfreyd. Your heart to spread God’s kingdom precedes you. I look forward to hearing about how God uses you in your new position & community. Best wishes!
I struggle sometimes with FOMO when I see other people achieving amazing things. But increasingly I feel joy for them and joy in the different path I am on. I feel peace in choosing a different life.
Jesus was available. He was interruptible.
A tangible reminder of how God is available and not interrupted by us.
What a reminder, that I have so much more access to God than I take advantage of.

Lord, haste the Day when we can finally see how you’ll turn our tears into triumph, a time when sadness is no more than a vague memory.
In the meantime help us make your invisible glory tangible to a world in need of hope.
I'm realizing that the people I admire most are ones who pay close attention to what they root themselves in, not merely the most seemingly productive ones. Roots are ever so important in a fruitful life. What you root yourself in will be reflected in the fruit you produce.
There’s a lot you CAN be doing.
There’s much less you NEED to be doing.
You can be drowning in good opportunities,
but you’ll still be drowning.
Know your priorities.
