Shey you see o
This is something Nigerians need to learn about money.
This guy literally says he makes a good living and money isn’t a major concern for his family, yet he saw a $60 T-shirt and said No way! and walked away.
Give the average Nigerian the same purchasing power and there’s a good chance he buys three, posts the shopping bag online and tips the sales attendant just to complete the performance.
We sometimes confuse being able to afford something with something being worth the money and oh well it adds to inflation
Consumers have pricing power too. If enough people refuse to pay ridiculous prices, businesses eventually have to respond. But when people keep paying simply because they can afford it, you’re basically telling the market there’s still room to charge you more.
Having money should not remove your sense of value for money.
Dear @mehdirhasan
This lying double-mouthed dishonest aide called Daniel Bwala that you publicly exposed his hypocrisy to the world a few months ago, now claims Al Jazeera “apologised” to him over your interview with him.
Please is this claim true?
And if true, what exactly did Al Jazeera apologise to him for?
Dear Nigerians,
Pls retweet until @mehdirhasan sees this and publicly responds to clear the air.
Rick Ross got caught flying economy and I'm not about to extend him any grace on this one. As much trash as this man talks about everybody? He called 50 Cent broke. He said Drake's album flopped when it went platinum in three weeks. Now look at him, folded up in coach. Drake literally called this shot: "If I'm lying I'm flying economy. I bet I know who I'll see." You can't talk that much and then live like that. Karma keeps the receipts.
