The ERC project entitled “Stratospheric composition in a changing CLIMate: drivers and mechanisms (SOCLIM)” aims at improving our understanding of the interaction between stratospheric composition and climate. https://t.co/jUCv44y4n4 (2/3)
I am pleased and honored to have been awarded an ERC Starting Grant, funded by @ERC_Research. Starting from tomorrow, I will be joining the Spanish National Research Council ( @IGeociencias ) as tenure-track researcher, to lead a new group on Chemistry-Climate interactions (1/3)
(11/11) This paper represents yet another key milestone of the SNSF Ambizione Grant (which is finalizing this month)! Thanks to @snsf_ch for funding our work!
(1/11) Our paper entitled "Weakening of springtime Arctic ozone depletion with climate change" (Friedel, Chiodo, et al.,) is now out at Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics! It is available at

It should be noted, however, that large perturbations to ozone recovery can still arise from other forcings, such as wildfire aerosols and volcanic eruptions (e.g. @HungaTonga ). These forcings are still poorly represented in model projections.
