Good morning.
The reason you feel Charlie’s death so deeply is because grief doesn’t measure itself by proximity. It measures itself by meaning. You didn’t have to know him personally to feel the sting of his absence, because when a voice like his goes silent, something in the atmosphere shifts.
The reason it feels heavier than so many other tragedies is because your spirit recognizes that this is not just about a man, it is about a battle. Scripture says eternity is written on our hearts, and when someone who carried truth with boldness is suddenly gone, eternity aches within us. It’s like our souls know instinctively that the darkness celebrated, and that strikes us at the core.
The reason you can’t shake it is because psychologically, we don’t only attach ourselves to people…we attach ourselves to symbols. Charlie became a symbol of conviction in a time of compromise, courage in a time of fear. And when a symbol is struck down, it rattles something primal and eternal inside us.
That’s why even those who never met him feel it. There is a strange thread pulling at us, and it is not imagined. It is real. We are bound together by shared purpose, by shared longing for truth, by the Spirit of God Himself weaving us into a fabric that cannot be torn apart. This loss pulled at that fabric, and every one of us felt the tug.
So if you’ve wondered why this hits so hard, it’s because your soul knows. This is bigger than news. This is bigger than politics. This is about eternity, about truth, and about the weight of a man whose life carried both.
Love y’all.
What Steve Jobs teaches us about preaching:
1. 'If users need a manual, the design has failed'
Drill down to ONE big idea. If your sermon needs Cliff Notes, you've already lost them.
2. 'Question everything about the current design'
Don't structure your sermon the same way every time. The text should shape the sermon, not your template.
3. 'Start with the user experience, then work backwards to the technology'
Start with the longings and objections of your hearers. Begin where they are, not where your commentary is.
4. 'Perfection in details matters'
Crystallize the language of your major points and make them beautiful. Craft words that sing.
5. 'Create products people don't know they need yet'
Show them how the Gospel applies to everything. Connect every dot to Christ.
6. 'Integration of hardware and software'
Work just as hard on your delivery as your exegesis.
7. 'Say no to 1,000 things'
Kill your darlings and then kill some more. If it doesn't serve the core message, let it go.
8. 'Prototype and iterate'
Read or speak through it and give space for the Spirit to change it on the fly.
Truth, like great design, should feel inevitable when encountered.

The American College of Pediatricians just put out a 🔥🔥🔥 statement calling out all the major medical associations by name for pushing the gender transition craze on kids.
They ask for these groups to "IMMEDIATELY stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex."
The full @ACPeds statement ⬇️
"Therefore, given the recent research and the revelations of the harmful approach advocated by WPATH and its followers in the United States, we, the undersigned, call upon the medical professional organizations of the United States, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Endocrine Society, the Pediatric Endocrine Society, American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to follow the science and their European professional colleagues and immediately stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex. Instead, these organizations should recommend comprehensive evaluations and therapies aimed at identifying and addressing underlying psychological co-morbidities and neurodiversity that often predispose to and accompany gender dysphoria. We also encourage the physicians who are members of these professional organizations to contact their leadership and urge them to adhere to the evidence-based research now available.”

This is a must-watch.
Congressman Nikolas Ferreira speaks out at the UN against the woke revolution in Brazil.
He's under investigation for this speech.

@ScienceGuys_ Without kinesin, life would not be possible, as they transport the compounds of the cell, for example, when it divides.
In the video you see the compounds moving, the kinesin itself isn't visible.
Kinesin was discovered by Ron Vale in the 80's.
