@PaulWeymouth2 Agreed. It is crucial that opt-in language be clear so that patrons know exactly what they are opting in to. And also making sure they understand how their data is being used (i.e., not being sold, etc.).

How to protecting patron privacy on the holds shelf. I've seen holds displayed spine down with a slip of paper showing the library card number. Others have been shelved with the spine covered with a large sticker that has the patron last name on it. Which is better? #INFO246w75

@ellebee4707 Great point. I'd be interested in seeing statistics that show use of virtual services before and after COVID. Obviously there was an increase during the pandemic but will that increase be maintained overtime? And how do libraries adapt their services to adjust for this change?

My local library uses social media to share programming with the community. While FB is updated several times per week, twitter is rarely updated. I assume the audience they are trying to reach determines how much time/effort they put towards each channel. #INFO246w621
