@Windows Not yet delivered, search is still bad and slow, context menus can take ages to load on laptops. Please anybody can fix that with AI in 2 minutes, this should not take a year to be released. We also need a preview files instant app for all file types.
@TheIndexMint I don't understand, in Spain the bare minimum is 600mb/s you cannot get a contract of any less in 2026. Having 1000 mb/s is quite normal, and I have 10000 at home. It is mandatory having fiber you have it even in rural towns.
@thsottiaux It would be amazing being able to use the decisions model within codex with a /decision command or similar, and give support for this with sign in with chat gpt for third party services make use of it with your account
@thsottiaux Codex cloud is also broken, migrating old cloud environments lets them unpublished in a broken state without being able to delete them, it just says publish them and there is no such button. Errors while creating new environments. Buttons to publish / unpublish
@thsottiaux Codex security needs attention. No button to solve all issues at once, generate patch + fix at once or multi select issues to solve. No button to delete specific scans. No auto recovery if computer shuts down. No warn to not edit current branch files while analysis is run.
@thsottiaux A tool like Claude design that allows you to keep UI with the patterns you define, and have a review of UI patterns automatically when doing PR would be nice too, very graphic so it is easy to apply changes to UI centralyzed etc.
@LDT0545 Vendor lock in features with no alternatives, integration limits, low usage in the subscription, better alternatives, intentionally downsizing usage over time with more expensive prices.
@komal_uk01 Microsoft doesn't help by just bloating Windows 11 with their services instead of making it optimal on low power devices and by requiring you to install tools for everything even merging two pdf or just opening them. Even file explorer was crazy slow, even after k2 updates
@komal_uk01 Windows laptops are not designed from 0 and are just downsized desktop cpu with high energy usage with some exceptions. Usually loose 1/2 performance on battery, and usually with enterprise firewalls or antivirus software that kills everything.
@attacomsian Just one detail, if i don't want to keep it open at all times, when i use spotlight to open it, it just opens it to the activity bar instead of opening the full app, i haven't seen a setting to change this behaviour it would be nice.
@attacomsian I bought it as soon as I saw it, as i'm not pleased with standard macos activity monitor, and it is amazing, super fast, well designed, tons of details. Amazing the projects one for developers as me dealing with leaked node processes 😂
@hany99dev They did the right thing once for all, we want to keep this current level of usage with future models. Models are right now more than enough for lots of things, if they do new models very expensive, slow but smarter i don't care if i want to do small changes.
@saidotdev Apple has a big issue with app sizes and operating system update size. Full ubuntu or windows iso is less than 5GB. Updating ios apps can be 250MB per app and in Android maybe just 3-20MB, windows update the same. And their storage is gold priced.
@thsottiaux Oh god noo Astra has eaten 2 resets so far due to bugs, don't retire it until we have a gpt 6 luna same price / usage! I felt like luna got smarter due to improvements in codex computer use improvements recently
